Concrete Blocks / Cinder Blocks

This is a Cost-Effective Foundation System used to set Sheds. The Delivery Specialist will start to level your Shed at the Highest Point where the Shed is placed. From the highest point, the Shed will then be leveled with Cinder Block Foundation for shed. From our experience working with customers, we have found that it is not easy to tell just by looking at a yard how level or off level your lawn is! We recommend a Line Level to check for correct measurement  from high point to low point where your shed will be placed. If your yard is not level, you will want your shed doors on the higher side of the ground if possible.

Gravel Pad Shed Foundation

Level Gravel Pads are a popular Shed foundation type. They are quick to install, keep the Shed clean from mud splash back, easy to remove if your Shed requires moving, and relatively affordable. A Prepared and Level Shed Site will make your Shed sit as Level and Low to the ground as possible, which will help with access into the building. You may still need a Shed Ramp for a riding mower, or other machinery, ect. It may affect the total cost of your storage shed project, but in the end, you may be glad you chose a Gravel Pad Foundation for your Shed.

Concrete Pad Shed Foundation

A more permanent feature, Concrete Pads are without question one of the most Secure Foundations for a Shed. If properly poured, they will never settle or crack and they also ensure that your Shed will remain in Premium Condition because of the Solid Foundation.

Concrete Piers

This type of Shed Foundation is less common. If the ground has a steep drop-off, a Pier and Post Foundation may be your only option. You need to contact your Custom Storage Shed Builder from which you are planning to buy and get the specifications of the skid / runner placement so that you can install your piers in the correct locations. Pier foundations for sheds are more costly but may be your Best Option with a extreme drop-off slope.

Post and Beam

This foundation is by far the least common of all the options mentioned. This foundation is great for you if you are planning to put your Shed on the side of a Very Steep hill. We recommend to not block a Shed with concrete blocks higher than 24” at the highest end. Here is where the Post and Beam Foundation system comes in. With this method, you can securely have the high end of your shed floor above 24”.
